   I rate it a three star only because I have been happy with other versions of Krussel’s Blackberry case, namely the Pearl version. That one was nice, tight and the phone felt very protected. I also liked the interchangeable clips since I usually carry my phone in my front pocket but use it as a music player for runs. It is nice to have the option to remove the clip but retain the safety of the case.

   This case has a completely different design. The zipper closure is gone, you just slip the phone in. The screen is not protected, although I will say that dust is less likely to accumulate and scratch the phone. After 3 months the plastic stiffener has started to break down. The phone tended to slip out of the case even before this, but without the stiffer case it is much more likely to do so.

   Were this my first experience with Krussel, I might write them off. But as I mentioned, I have seen them put out a superior product for a good price. I hope they fix this issue. In any case (no pun intended)I will now be shopping for another protector.
