   I bought this for my Blackberry Bold 9700 a few months ago. I still have it unfortunately. It was cool when I first got it. Only thing is that it doesn’t clip on securely and everytime I accidentally drop my phone (since I obviously have butterfingers lol) the damn thing cracks open and the 2 pieces fly everywhere. Not a very solid built product but was the best thing at the time so thats why I got it. Also, it tends to pick up a lot of lint on the inside. My phone isn’t broken tho so I guess it kinda does its job.

   I didn’t have any problems with this fitting on my Blackberry Bold 9700, and it actually looked quite nice. I wanted clear since I think the phone is a good-looking phone, and I didn’t want to cover up anything, but I wanted some sort of protection. With everything snapped into place, everything was hunky dory for a month and a half, until I tried to pry off the cover to access the backplate of the phone. It was not as easy to take off as to put on. After I took the case off and then put it back on, one corner of the case wouldn’t snap back into place. A couple weeks later, I dropped the phone for the first time. The front and back piece of the case separated, and the case fit back together even less well. After a couple more falls, only one side of the case was snapped together. I think I prefer the rubber cases – they slip on and off easily, and they don’t break apart when you drop your phone.

   Bottom line: I was really happy with this case until I dropped the phone.

   This is a clear cover for the Blackberry Bold 9700. This cover does not fit my Blackberry properly. It overlaps on the sides. I guess you get what you pay for.
